Victoria Police Regional Office, Shepparton

Located in Shepparton's commercial district, this project is the central hub for Victoria Police's regional operations with the integration of its surroundings, the building offers flexible office layouts for up to four tenants. Emphasizing natural light and efficient construction, it enhances functionality and aesthetic appeal for its users and local community.

Open-plan commercial spaces are designed for flexibility and adaptability, with the capacity to be occupied by a single user or up to four tenants. A retail tenancy is incorporated into the ground floor to maintain the active nature of the High Street address.

A triple-height circulation ribbon forms the primary organizational strategy and design identity of the building;

Horizontally, the ribbon links the High Street address to a secondary entrance from Rowe Street.

Vertically, the ribbon forms a visual and physical dialogue between building floors, becoming a passive space for social interaction within a light and airy environment.

The modulated façade is both refined and economical, sympathetic to the High Street character, continuing the rhythm of the existing street wall while also allowing for speed in construction within a regional context.
